Why do we associate beauty with physical features?
The bloody glow of the sunrise,
Is the same shade of our hearts.
The way we rise,
Is the same as we fall.
But when we fall;
We must be reminded,
The sun will set, but it will always rise higher.
See yourself in the ocean,
Unstable, yet calm.
Soft as a wave,
Strong as a current.
Let yourself escape in the cool waters,
To be reminded how warm your soul is.
When the night falls,
Remind yourself to dream.
While our bodies decay,
Our heart thrives on.
When your mind is screaming in the ridges and valleys of your thoughts
You’re fat,
Your nose is too big,
You have a double chin,
The only thing that echoes back is,
You are beautiful.
